Had a great breakfast in Idaho Springs yesterday morning with some friends visiting from SF, tomorrow I’ll drive three hours up to Carbondale and spend the weekend with friends there, and have started planning to climb a 14er later this summer with Bridget! Finally getting up to the mountains after a few weeks in Denver, Feels great. They smell the same.
AND I have completed steps #3 and #4 in the process to return to France, namely, buying a plane ticket to go to Chicago to get the new visa, and buying a plane ticket to Paris in August. Feels good to have it locked up. Future steps include receiving the mysterious document from France, filling out the visa application, getting more passport photos…and of course actually obtaining the visa, something that I feel like I won’t believe will happen until it has already happened.
